Founder and Managing Director of the BriStar Group, Peter completed his degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1991, working as an engineer in wastewater treatment for seven years before transitioning to property development.
Working as a Town Planning Coordinator and Project Manager in China before emigrating, Peter now has over ten years' real estate and property development experience in Australia, developing five apartment and townhouse projects collectively valued at over $100 million.
Becoming a founding member of the Queensland Chinese Property Developer Association in 2016, Peter has a passion for providing expert advice and solutions to overcome any obstacle and, with a focus on community, he's dedicated to creating a platform for Chinese property development through his consultancy, marketing, construction, and financial services.

Lynn Cheung (Managing Director)
With extensive property experience in both Australia and China, Director Lynn Cheung has an unbeatable understanding of development and construction project management, site selection and acquisition, and development feasibility studies.
Having worked as a real estate agent in both Brisbane and Sydney, Lynn has also achieved a high volume of sales with off-the-plan and development site projects, residential and commercial sales, and auctions.
Forging a number of strong, long-term relationships with clients and contacts within the industry, including developers, design and consulting firms, contractors, investors, and investment firms, Lynn maintains her position due to the trust, respect and reliability she shows every day, as well as her calm and friendly negotiating tactics, her intimate knowledge of the local property market, and her commitment to real estate.
Charlie Gu (Director)
Studying a double degree in Visual Art and Digital Design in 2009 before being invited to become General Manager at a migration agency, Charlie Gu then went on to establish his own highly successful agency, gaining valuable insight into the real estate industry during this time.
With a genuine desire to help Chinese families with their migration needs, his dedication and commitment to this goal, as well as his excellent understanding of government policies, market trends and economic development has been on full display as he spearheads the BriStar Group's migration and education services.
He also helps new migrants establish themselves in Australia, and assists the local Chinese community to grow their capital through property investment.
Alex Zhou (Director)
Having worked on projects with a combined value of over $80 million in the past five years, Alex has a successful history in property development and investment. A Queensland University of Technology graduate, studying Urban Development (majoring in Property Economics), his passion for real estate and excellent communication skills allow him to work closely with a wide variety of international and local business partners.
Specialising in property valuation for residential, commercial, and industrial projects, and with experience in land subdivision for townhouse and apartment developments, he draws on his strong academic and practical understanding of the industry to ensure a smooth process for investors, from land acquisition to finance, to design processing, builder tendering, and finally construction.
With an eye for the potential of new developments, and a wide-ranging list of contacts and investors, Alex ensures the best result for any project.
Vivien Li (Project Manager Assistant)
Vivien is passionate about the construction industry and strives to use her academic and practical skills to improve efficiency and profitability.
With a Bachelor of Town Planning and Master of Construction Practice under her belt, Vivien is a highly skilled member of the BriStar Development team. She also uses her Graduate Certificate of Project Management and Diploma of Interpreting to excel in her role.

Lisa plays an integral part of the BriStar company. With her impressive organisational and communication skills, Lisa ensures the company continues to run smoothly in all operations.
With a Master of Business from Queensland University of Technology along with her friendly personality, Lisa is a fantastic administrator for the BriStar office.

Ye Hong has a Master Degree of Commerce, a Bachelor Degree of English Literature and is also a Justice of Peace.
Yun Lin (Registered Migration Agent)
Yun Lin, Bristar chief migration consultant, registered migration agent, Bachelor of Law, Master of Social Work from University of Queensland. Have worked for the world’s largest ocean freight and shipping corporate in managing Australia performance and strategic development. Graduated from Migration Law major from Griffith University, have since obtained full licence with MARA as registered migration agent. Excelled in providing services for different kinds of Australian visas, especially for business investment category of Australian visas.
Have been keeping a very high successful rate since worked in the migration industry with excellent reputation, have maintained good and solid relationships with all State Migration Offices in Australia. Tom Wang (Registered Migration Agent)

Shuli Li (Property Manager)
Before working in Property Management for Bristar, Shuli has worked as a travel agent in Beijing and a sales representative in Sydney. Shuli works hard to establish the best property management team in Brisbane.
Shane Li (Property Manager)
Shane has a PhD in Engineering. Over the years, Shane has gained worked in manufacturing, research and development in China, and quality control and international trade in Australia. Shane has eight years of experience in property rental, property sales and property management.
Steven Zhou (Project Manager Assistant)
Steven assists in the management of all BriStar projects. Steven utilises his excellent organisational skills and previous sales experience in his role as Project Manager Assistant.
Terrance Liu (Project Manager Assistant)
Terrance has numerous certifications across Occupational Health and Safety and Manufacturing Engineering. Terrance has worked on many of BriStar’s projects with a special focus on building measurements and construction costs.
Terrance has previously been employed as a Workplace Health and Safety Supervisor and Executive in Singapore.
Nick Li (Marketing Manager)
Nick is experienced in sales and marketing in real estate and development. He has previously worked as a Marketing Executive and Agent Coordinator on large scale apartment and house and land projects across South Brisbane, Rochedale and Springfield.
Nick’s role as Marketing Manager for BriStar Management involves price planning and promotion strategising for existing and future projects, as well as managing real estate agent engagement.
Peter Leung (Project Manager Assistant)
Since completing his Bachelor of Quantity Surveying, Peter has worked in Hong Kong on new airport infrastructure projects and on cost planning and control for various large-scale projects around Queensland. These projects included Griffith University’s Gold coast Campus, residential apartments in Ephriam Island, Noosa Heads and Toowong, and the Townsville Army Barracks.
When Peter is not busy working as a project manager assistant, he enjoys playing cricket, fishing and reading in the Brisbane sunshine.
